Rhonda Hernandez
the blogger of
http://50-shades-of-gray-hair.com/
took this picture at the Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont.
”On the shores of this crystal clear, bitterly cold, but beautiful mountain lake, many a vacationer and summer camp owner took freely and without question what she offered…but she reminds us once in a while, that nothing is ever free. This is one such reminder…time to feed the fishes. The newest addition to our underwater fishing village. Thanks for the memories.”

”Water is so necessary for a growing child and such an important part of the growth of nature. The two together brought this picture to mind of my grand daughter while on a trip.”

2nd Challenger – Summer no more
A few words from
Alec Smith
http://photocrazyuk.wordpress.com/
”This image was taken last year heading in to our Autumn, on our local coast. The water was hitting land with some force, even anger, and this normally implies high tide PLUS high wind. On this day however it was a very high tide but there was very little wind, and the sun was shining in a relatively blue sky. There were many people just standing and looking at the spectacle. The calm seas further off-shore, the tranquil skies and the roaring waves.

1st Challenger – La Serenissima
Tom Weber
http://thepalladiantraveler.com/
”Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world and certainly its most romantic, is known by Italians as La Serenissima (The Serene). World-famous for its canals, Venice is built on an archipelago of 118 islands connected by more than 400 bridges around a shallow lagoon along the Adriatic coastline in northeastern Italy. Without the element of water, there simply would not be Venice.”
