1st Challenger – La Serenissima

”Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world and certainly its most romantic, is known by Italians as La Serenissima (The Serene). World-famous for its canals, Venice is built on an archipelago of 118 islands connected by more than 400 bridges around a shallow lagoon along the Adriatic coastline in northeastern Italy. Without the element of water, there simply would not be Venice.”

The sepia effect, in this photo, sets the mood, in my opinion, more effectively than monochrome or color. Terrific picture, Mr. Weber!!

  4. Love the sepia treatment Tom, well done! Good luck

  9. Wow, I am simply blown away with your Venice Photography!! It is supurb and shot with your professional eye. What I love is the overall affect it has creating a wonderful “mood!” This mood draws me into this picture…I want to be there….I want to absorb this mood you have created. I am enjoying the texture of the buildings! You have captured the essence of Venice with the sepia coloring! It enhances every detail in the buildings and waterway.
This is the finest photo I have ever seen!! You are a brilliant photographer!!
