As long as they’ve been around, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a Euro (I’m American), so this isn’t really an every day (or any day) item for us, here at home. It all depends on where you live. I suspect even the toothbrush might be a foreign object to some people. This post does make you think about the things we all take for granted as being normal, everyday, products, though.

Yes. We see plenty of dollars, quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies … no Euros here, though.

Excellent take on everyday objects! Love the toothbrush one since usually any photo you see of a toothbrush is on an advert and they are all pristine and perfect… yours is clearly used and has character, which in turn makes for a more interesting photograph.

The euro? Every time I see one, I can only think of a trip to Venicia Italy and having to fork over a euro just to to use a restroom. I hope they don’t do this in Greece. It can be a painful experience. I don’t travel enough! Have fun!

That was totally an art trip. I’m amazed at the progression, how the sequence of images formed the structure of a story. And I thought putting facebook in there was brilliant, as the representative of the most modern tool. And the ending, the consolidation of oneness, the circle, culminating in the 1 in “1 euro” and money is the ultimate tool?

The water tap was interesting – how long did you have to wait to get that one? The series goes to show that just looking at things from a different perspective can change the details. I noticed the manufacturing/daily usage markings on the fork but on a day to day basis I don’t see them.

I love the effective use of the macro lense. It was first introduced to me by my wife, a photographer herself, a few years back. It gives a nice abstract look to everyday objects if used properly. Great job!
