After that warm breakfast we went to an other small village near to Karpenisi…

…where we ate the best custard filled pastry and millefeuille ever..

Is this Karpenisi Greece? Very beautiful! It could be Spain, or Mexico. 🙂

    • Yeah it’s Kaprenisi from Greece!!Have you been there??

No, I haven’t travelled further than Britain, and found that cold, and deforested. I was surprised to see the trees in your photos…so different than American pines. Every climate is different, but our warmest states seem to be very dry and desertlike (California), or very humid (Florida). I thought Greece was hot and dry too…apparently not so!

      • we have many places and islands whitch are like trees no nothing.. but there are a lot of other places which are the you can see in the pictures!!:) thanks for your comment!!

  7. You can’t believe but I always miss Greece… My grandfather was from Rhodos island, maybe something calls me…. Whenever we traveled to the Aegean coast of my country we were listening to Greek radio channels… I missed these travels too now… and I am crazy with Lesbon island to watch from this side… yes, I love Greece and Greek people and their culture… In another saying, my other half of my heart is Greece… I can’t explain this but maybe because of my Grandpa…. Anyway you almost took me into the memories dear Rod, my love and I want to make a travel to Greece, maybe this summer by our car… But of course if my love can find a time for this, he is too busy. I loved this Kaprenisi, between green mountains… and you captured so beautiful photographs, and I love her, and your dog… Wonderful. But please tell me what are you eating, in Greek and in English can you tell me… they are both dessert , aren’t they? Thank you dear Rod, I really enjoyed with your travel photographs, Greetings and Love to you all, nia

    • yeah you should visit this amazing!!We were eating custard filled pastry and millefeuille( you can ask them like galaktompoureko,it’s the greek word, and milfeig..!I can’t tell you exactly what is it made of..I don’t really know..:P but yeah it’s a dessert!!

      • Thank you so much. You are so nice. I just wonder, I love to learn the details… especially from Greece… Your Eurovision song is nice. Good Luck. Love, nia

      • I am afraid Russia will be the winner… These grandmothers are so lovely, before this song contest I watched and listened to them on Russian Travel Guide… I didn’t knowh too about yesterday, and tomorrow ours will be… But ı don’t like the voting system… It is funny. We all know who will give their votes to who… 🙂 Good Night dear Rod, nia

      • yeah and thats not fair…cause we don’t vote for the song but for the country witch is near us..
